Aftiel, Cat Angel of Twilight, is completely handmade and has no glaze.  The rich black color is the result of saggar firing where carbon from burning paper is absorbed into the clay body.  The companion bird is handmade, Raku fired, and pivots on a wire post.  This sweet Cat Angel would make an elegant addition to your cat or angel collection.
